Open a bank account after having negative balances in the past?

Hi, 3 years ago i had a bad situation and took negative balances on 2 banks account, since them im getting collection actions, letters, etc etc and then i try to open a new account on a totally different bank and is not possible, is there any bank that will open an account for me, i have a better job now and not planning to have negative balances no more and im also tired of using debit card with 100 different fees for everything please help, thanks.

    Have you settled the accounts that had negative balances. If so, I think you would have a good chance of getting a new account. If not, why would someone want to take a chance that you will do the same thing to them?
