If an Accountant files your tax extension; does he have to do your taxes?
I had an accountant file my tax extension and I cant get an appointment with him. The one appointment I had, he double booked himself and was out of town, so I wasted a trip to his office. So my question is, is it ok to go to another accountant?

Sure.
Did you remember to only give the first preparer copies of your tax data?

Yes, you can still use someone else, or you can file them yourself if you’re comfortable doing so. There’s no law that says you have to use the same person again.
