Why wont my Credit card work when my supplier says it is active?

I try to use my credit card online and it has been rejected. I rang my card issuer and they said there is nothing wrong with it. I have ordered stuff online and im not overdue a payment and there is a big balance on it. They cant see anything wrong with it so i tried to use it in a shop and it worked fine. Please help.

    The system is full of glitches due to upgrades in yahoo, see yahoo blog for details.!!!
    The best thing to do is contact your service provider, go to yahoo help on the top of page, right side and click on help.!!!
