What bank can I go to and get a checking account with that will allow me to cash third party checks?
I need to deposit my fiances check, but wells fargo won’t let me do it cause he isn’t on the account. Does anyone know of any bank that I can go with that I would be able to do that?

I’d talk to a manager. If all you want to do is deposit a check to your account (and you haven’t had any problems) there is no reason they shouldn’t be able to deposit it to your account. YOu might have a delay before the funds are available; but they shouldn’t refuse it.

It is very difficult to deposit 3rd party check. Mainly the person that the check make payable to could actually goes to the bank a claim for his money back. at that time, the bank has no choice but to take lost and have to give him the money back. that is the reason bank do not want to take risk. the best thing to do is develop a good rapport with your banker. you have to earn their trust first.

Try a local small bank. The ones in my town usually have no problem with third party checks as long as the person it is written to has endorsed the check.
