How long will it take for the money to transfer?
My mum just transferred some money from her Lloyds bank account in to my Halifax account. She did it last night over the phone.

Bank to bank transfers usually take between 2 and 3 working days.

Yes, around two to three working days is about right.

If she sent over £500 it will take 3-4 working days, if she sent less than that it should be avilable straight away as it would be sent with faster payments, But sometimes the faster payments system is unavilable so just leave 3-4working days to be sure.
