Can i go to the bank without parent or guardian to have notarized letter from bank?

I’m going to college during the fall for 2 years only. I have to get notarized from a Bank to my college before they accept me in college. I’m 19 years old. I have Non- Driver License. Can i go to the bank without parent or guardian to have notarized letter from the bank? I live in Tuscaloosa,Alabama.

Once you are 18 and over you shouldnt need your parents for that. You do need some type of id.

You’re over 18 and therefore don’t need your parents. You do need government ID to get a signature notarized – and banks are not the only place you can do that.

Going with a parent or guardian would make no difference…you’re 19. You are an adult now so you make your own decisions and you’re responsible for yourself. If you were 17 you wouldn’t legally be able to sign anything anyway and a notary would be useless.
