Whats the best bank for getting a debit card and How do i apply?

I am 20 yrs old im planning to get a debit card so i can start buying online,
I was wondering which bank is the best to do this with and.. What documents do i need to bring to get one?? and how long til i recieve it? (im in the UK) so Natwest ,Nationwide, HSBC, Barclays cant think of any other at the moment..but help please (“,)

    Don’t touch Halifax. I bank with HSBC and they are quite good. Look for the bank with the minimal charges for if you go overdrawn.

    but most banks in the US you need these things

    1 drivers license or picture ID
    2 proof of residency
    3 and some want your employment information
    4 social security card
    5 and you have to be at least 18 for your own account

    your best bet is to phone a local bank and ask
