What bank would you suggest to someone with good credit that needs a better credit card to rollover balances?
My boyfriend has a fico of around 700ish and has 15k in credit card debt @ 27% and 29% through Chase bank. He is only making the minimum payments and barely paying on the principle amount. He doesn’t know much about banking and has never heard of “rolling over” balances to different cards. He thinks it’s “scamming”. What banks are offering good rates right now?

It’s called a balance transfer.
Go to bankrate.com – a trusted company.
Click on credit cards – then on best for balance transfers.
There will be a fee of about 5% of the total amount for moving the money from one card to the other.
Do not close the old cards when they are paid off – just leave them open for good credit.
And for goodness sake, from now on try to make it a goal to pay credit cards in full each month.
Carrying balances only reduces credit.
If he paid off that amount today, he would probably have 800+ scores.
