How long does it take for bank debts to be written off?
I got in to debt with one of the major banks, and that was a few years ago now. But i was wondering if it would be written off by now, as i want to open an account and dont want to get hit by the other bank. Also if i went into a joint account with my partner, would i still have to worry about them catching up with me.
