How does a Lender know you have a bank account to attach a judgement to?

With thousands of banks in the US. How does a lender find out where I bank at and thus levy my bank account?

For instance I have 3 savings accounts. I know my social is attached to the account.. Do they query the IRS for my banking records or something?

The 3 credit reporting agencies keep tract of all this information. They have every address you have ever had and every banking or credit relationship you have ever had.

Go to this site and you can look at your report. I’m not sure why it isn’t a .gov or a .org site. This isn’t a hoax site. The freeness of your report is mandated by law once a year.
