How do I make a bank deposit to a HSBC bank account?
I have made an order online and to pay I am meant to make a bank deposit which I have never done. Are there online options of paying, or do you have to go into the bank? And can you make a bank deposit with cash, or does the money have to be transferred from another account?
What are some basic guidelines as to how to make a bank deposit?
I have the seller’s bank details and now I just need to know how to do it.
Thank you!

You can open bank card payment capabilities at the HSBC bank, then you can conduct online transactions…

You have three choices for making a deposit with HSBC:
1) Visit an HSBC branch — the fastest option of getting funds in your account
2) Mail the deposit to HSBC — not the fastest option but if you don’t live near an HSBC branch, this would be sort of the only option. Could take up to a week (7 business days) before they receive the funds and clear the funds.
3) If you have an account with another bank, you could setup a Wire Transfer —- it could take upwards to 3 business days before the funds hit your HSBC account.
If you need to get the funds in the account fast, visiting a branch would be the best option.
